Investment Potential and Analysis of Capt. Marvel Issues 1 to 34.

Amazingly Secret Approach Using an Incredibly Novel Data Analysis Procedure for Comic Book Investing and Speculation.

Captain Marvel Issues 1 to 34

So I have stated in other blogs the use of the three data streams to focus on the potential each issue has for an investment opportunity. In Table 1, I present the Bias Score for the Silver Age run of Captain Marvel.

Lime Green denote the issues with the strongest potentials and dark green staining note the issues that have good potential. So we see issues 17, 18, 26 and 27 are the issues with the highest potential using this technique. They all have a BScore above the first issue, which is a rarity. Issue 17/18 ties in Carol Danvers, Rick Jones and Capt America.  These issue setup Carol Danvers as Ms. Marvel. (Key). Issue 26 and 27 Have Thanos and Super-Skrull with the Cosmic Cube. Key with the plot set by Jim Starlin. I would watch these issues in the next data streams of the SLN and ADFs ( See Table 2 and 3).

Table 2 illustrates the SLN numbers from the Data in the two investment worlds, the Insiders (professional investors) vs Outsiders (not professional investors). Red stained issues are those that have a negative potential and should be avoided. Gray stained issues are on the watch list, while the green stained issues are those that should get our focus. Note we see 17 and 18 are still prized by insiders using this data window.

ADFs are a method for use the look the Biases in each individual grade of 9.4, 8 and 6. The positive data is represented by a orange $ here in Table 3. Issues that are a suggestion for focus at 9.4 and 8 or all three are stained lime green. Issues only to be focused at the 9.4 grade level are stained with dark green. Note Issue 17 has survived in all data streams and is a suggested focus at 8 and 9.4,  The other issues in dark green would best be acquired at the highest grade of 9.4 or better.

So the score card in Table 4 pulls us back up as we drill back through the 3 layers of data universe for these Cap Marvel issues. Certainly, issues 17, 18 and 26 and 27 are seen as solid issue to focus your attention onto. Lime green are issues suggested by all data streams, dark green issues are suggested by 2 of the 3 data streams and yellow staining are only support in one data stream. Non-stained issues have not support at all. Avoid.

So I have been adding the extra data stream for the issues as shown in Table 5.  This data is a rating I call the Desire Scale. I sort the issues by those that have the highest DS vis a number I called Scaled Rank. Out of 1356 issues 17, 18, 26 and 27 are in the top 85% of desired comics in my data set. This clearly should support these 4 issues to focus on.  I might suggest a focus on Issue 33 with Thanos on the cover as well.
