Investment Potential and Bias Analysis of Iron Man Issues #1 to 56
Amazingly Secret Approach Using an Incredibly Novel Data Analysis Procedure for Comic Book Investing and Speculation.
Bias Analysis of Iron Man Issues 1 to 56.
As I have done in all my post, I will start out with the top level of analysis, the Bias Score. So given the popularity of Iron Man, I expected a lot of opportunities in this run. I have noted by color staining the issues strongly Bias by the insiders vs outsiders (lime green). Somewhat Bias issues have their issue number stained by dark green stain. So we see the strong issues are #1, 44, and 55. Note the B Scores are 370, 139, and 304. I discuss the desire scale of these three in table 5. I see issues 3, 9 13, 15, 28, 30 and 43 are dark green stained and deserve our attention as well. Also, I do note evidence of overbuying issues as seen by the high number of negative scoring issues. The story here is to focus on the lime green issues for full on investments.
Table 1. Iron Man B Score for Issues 1 to 56
SLN numbers give us a next level down as we drill into the data. I have noted that this calculation is the "loosest" one and should be carefully used. Note that 44 is the only of the previous lime green stained issues in the B Score Table 1. So I would keep the other issues in mind as we visit the last level the ADF in Table 3.
Table 2. SLN I/O Bias data for Iron Man Issues 1 to 56.
So Table 3 has tended to knock the data into a clear view. So here we see Issue 1, 9, and 44 are lime green stained and that suggests a focus around the 3 grades. Line Green staining denotes issues biased in all three grades or at least 9.4 and 8. Interestingly, Issue 55 is on;y dark stained and only recommended to be look at at the 9.4 grade only. Have the outsiders overbought at the lower grades? Yes! That is the case for all of the other dark green stained issues.
Note that Issue 9 also shows up here. This issue has the Hulk vs Iron Man battle scene and I believe this is the reason that the insiders are focused here. Check out the battle covers of Hulk vs Thing in FF 112 or 25 or Subby vs Thing SM #8 etc. Here is a theme of a investment. Focus on those issues featuring the Battle scene concept!. The insiders are focused on those issues shouldn't you be as well?
Table 3. ADF of Iron Man Issues 1 to 56 across 9.4, 8 and 6.
Ok, I present the Score Card for these issues when I give you in a snap shot a look at the issues in all the previous data table. Lime green stained issue are the strongest issues followed by dark green stained issues and finally yellow stained issue (watch list). Note issue 1, 9, 28 and 44 again. So we see 1 9 and 44 back again but issue 28 appears. This issue is the first appearance of Howard Stark and lays the foundation for alcoholism in Iron Man later.
Table 4. Score Card for Iron Man Issues 1 to 56.
We finally get into the Desire Scale and these two tables give the level each issue is desired. Note the top issues are 1, 55 and 44. Note the Scaled rank number. We can say these three are in the top 15% of desired comics in my data-set of 1356 comics. Note the next few are 43, 9 and 3. Issue 28 is still strong as well. You divide the Scaled Numbers to get the desire ratio between any 2 issues. Also I added a heat map of the Scaled Ranks from high 91.3 to low of the Issue 2. Note the 2 issue phenomena appears again in Iron Man, Outsiders can afford Issue 1 so the issue 2 is overbought. Avoid.
Tables 5 and 6. Desire Scale and Ranks for Iron Man 1 to 56.
